"The mares are gone. And he took your Shadow too." Andy's dad had told him the bad news that morning. By afternoon, the area ranchers had come together to find and take back their mares. Andy was ready too, knowing he was nearly a grown man and wanting to prove it. But his dad thought otherwise and put an end to Andy's hopes of going, saying he was still too young.Now it is up to Andy to find his stolen Shadow. Going against his dad's orders, Andy endeavors on the dangerous mission- alone. The search ended when he found his Shadow in the hands of killers.
