White Treasure

I decided to keep Mike's secret to myself as I took a compass heading east to get back to the dock without having to surface. It was black all around me with the flashlight barely providing enough light to read my compass. I made it to the ledge that would bring me up the other side of the river.I ascended slowly with my hands above my head to avoid running head first into the bottom of a boat. I was directly in front of the Gold Hunter as I reached the surface. I started swimming around the side of the boat to climb up on shore when another crack of thunder vibrated the water.Only three seconds later the blinding flash of lightning lit up the area with white light that seemed unnatural. A dark silhouette of a small man was on the shore in front of me. A pair of black glowing eyes told my mind that it was Abraham. The light disappeared leaving a blurred darkness.
