Novice Driver's Road Map- A Parent's Guide

To help parents cope with their role as teen driving coach, the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS), has produced The Novice Driver's Road Map- A Parent's Guide. Built around eight practice drives that expose the teen to progressively more difficult driving conditions and environments, the Road Map increases the number of practice hours and provides communication tips and strategies to help create a learning environment that is positive and stress free. Also included is The Coach's Game Book, which covers a variety of "need to know" information for the parent on graduated licensing laws, how to be a good role model, what mistakes to expect, and how to manage the use of the car.
