Sticky

Willie quits school to work on the ALCAN Highway. He grows up fast with the many hardships encountered in building 'The Road. By the time he turns eighteen the road is completed and he returns home it is at the end of WWII. He and the Sucker are baby sitters for his two year old son. The son earns the name Sticky because he finished every job he is given his bedtime stories are stories from 'The Road'. Tragedy in the form of cancer takes Willie. Sticky and his mother are left to finish what Willie had started. Sticky is very successful in the grading business and is hired by NCDOT. While there he is accused of embezzling forty million dollars. The intrigue comes while clearing his name. He hires the best. They are his childhood friends Tuck, Buddy & J. Leon. Included in the story is the runaway daughter of the Godfather, a high profile kidnapping and an attempt to establish a Southern Mafia. Sticky never worries because he has a 'SECRET WEAPON'.
