Callie Harold is a self-help writer that cannot manage to help herself find the one thing she wants more than anything else, true love. She confesses to every detail of repeatedly loving the wrong men. From bed hoping to broken promises, these confessions hold nothing back. Callie moves from the Midwest to New York where she hopes to find more success with her writing career when she stumbles across her new neighbor, Achilles. Like her, he is trying to keep his distance for reasons unknown to Callie. She returns home to find him standing at her door. Their relationship starts just as fiery hot as many of her other failed attempts at love but this time something is different. A year goes by and she is ready to marry him despite his often disappearances due to his family business and obvious holes in his story.
