A half-wit sleuth must stop a full-on serial killer in The First Buzzard, Mississippi Mystery. A serial killer is now picking off citizens of the small, once peaceful town at a terrifying rate, and it’s up to Detective Edward Coats to bring the nightmare to a close. A country-fried fellow with a strong drive and a weak internal censor, Coats must unearth the connection between the victims. He may not speak clearly, or without the use of profanity, but he’s being counted on to figure out who-done-did-it. In the end, this case will be closed, and the stage will be set for the next.
