go dead: An Original Zombie novel (Volume 1)

WARNING...stay indoors...martial law in effect. Everybody knew something was wrong well before the media notified the public at large. Reports of savage killings at funeral homes and local hospitals. There was even an “inside report exclusive,” where journalists were allowed to ride along with a mobile EMT unit and document their findings...the footage was disturbing. A lot of people thought it was fake. Until they started hearing the local stories within their own towns...word of mouth and such. My other tools were in an old red pickup truck I had stashed on the outside of the city. Little bobby and suzi approached, their dark blue skin wreaking of death and dysfunction, their faces spotted with varying levels of decay and their skin is badly bruised and rubbery. I reached into my tool belt and pulled out the drill...and rammed the drill bit into the eye socket of the undead boy, hoping to gore his brain, to stop his infectious attack...but at this point in time I was not informed about drills having a reverse switch and...I got the damn drill stuck...the drill started vibrating in my hands...the kids dead face was a blubbery cartoon of death...I almost laughed out loud, but only unwillingly...I would like to stress, I again was forced into another unforgettable act of murder...but their already dead. Was it murder?
