A Long and Winding Road: A family's intimate journey to the other side of breast cancer

Nancy Robinson was 49 years old, married and the mother of two sons, ages eight and 10 and her husband, Randy's two older sons from the time they were 11 and 13 years old, when she found a lump in her breast. There was no history of breast cancer in her predominantly female family. Yet, despite annual mammograms that proclaimed everything was fine, Robinson insisted something was not quite right. On October 3, 2005, she received the call every woman dreads. The one that begins with, "I'm sorry," and ends with, "You have breast cancer." "A Long and Winding Road," is a family's personal journey through a disease they knew nothing about, and transitioning back to "normal," knowing nothing in their lives would ever be the same again.
