Earth Rising: The Planets (Volume 1)

Humanity’s reign on earth has ended. Magnificent cities have fallen and nature flourishes once again. Amy Marksman lives a peaceful, uneventful life in a small village, raising her garden and wondering what happened to her ancestors so many years ago. Then a mysterious stranger – a god perhaps - appears, changing her world forever. Unsettled forces are moving out of the mountains and from beyond the boundaries of space. The stranger informs Amy that she is the key to salvation, which she finds unsettling and remarkable. To her dismay, the god is right. A dreadful fog drifts toward the sea, raising the dead and threatening the peace and stability Amy and her people enjoy. From the sky, strange ships seek to return to earth and change her world forever. To her dismay and wonder, the faces behind both threats to her existence are familiar and unmistakably human. Amy discovers that she has powers beyond her wildest imagination. She must use them to protect all that she holds precious, including her baby daughter who is trapped in the hands of a madwoman.
