Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

Dragone Kadugo is a member of the highly esteemed T’sivetan Templar Knights. Templar Knights are specialized warriors called to take out any magical or paranormal threats to T’sivetan citizens and are generally regarded as the most powerful physical and magical warriors in the entire kingdom. His status as a Templar Battlemage and Witchhunter allows him to take the more dangerous missions assigned to him by his superiors in Catarata, such as a fight with a dangerous lamia in Hannara, which Dragone immediately takes. But Dragone may get more than he bargained for and dangers worse than a lamia when he passes through a sleepy little town on the way to his next mission. The town of Incantare soon reveals itself to be filled with strange laws, grisly killings, and sightings of the paranormal. The residents fear him but won’t say why, and Dragone soon finds out he’s being watched and that someone doesn’t want him to leave to report what he’s seen. The more he investigates, the worse things become and the harder it becomes for him to escape. When Dragone becomes a target himself, it will take everything he knows from his time as a Templar in order to get out with his life and sanity intact.
