The Veolsh War

The Black Cruiser fleets were running silent. Every man in every cruiser knew he was flying toward death. His own, or the death of the Veolsh was not certain. The Argans were outnumbered two to one. Their only chance was to attack the Veolsh Council's fleet where the Argan calculations made from space probes said it would be. The timing for the space ambush had to be perfect. The Argan fleets were attacking the Veolsh from three different battle coordinates. If the ambush was successful, the Argans had a chance to win. If the ambush failed, the Argans would die, and the Veolsh plan to conquer Arga and the galaxy would probably succeed. Men wrote their hopes, and plans for freedom on flimsy paper. Sometimes, freedom had to be paid for with blood. This was a time when free men and their blood had to be strong enough to protect freedom, or freedom would die. The flimsy paper was worth saving.
