Orature: A Research Guide

The study of orature, as we have seen, is expanding and the research methods are becoming more sophisticated. African universities are gradually assuming a leading role both in research and instruction while universities in Europe and America are associating work in orature with the work of literature departments, an indication that they are beginning to recognize and accept the literary qualities of orature.
