Cats of Martha's Vineyard

In Cats of Martha's Vineyard you will meet one hundred and one island families who welcomed author Lynn Christoffers into their homes, farms, offices, shops, barns and fields to get to know their resident cats. Christoffers' goal was to photograph each cat in its natural environment and learn about its habits, and its special traits. When possible, Christoffers photographed the cat's people as well. Christoffers asked each family to write or tell a unique something about their cat -- a short text of their own words. Shared themes from these stories then shaped the chapters of the book.
