Travels of the Wonthaggi Notpu

In 1969, two American brothers took an extended trip to Australia to have a look around. Thanks to their Melbourne landlady and an older-model, locally built automobile, they were able to see, learn, and experience more than they ever could have imagined. From a Sydney flophouse to a country jailhouse, from the outback to the ocean and places in between, their journey changed the course of their respective lives forever. This is the story, with photographs, of that trip. It is an outsider's look at Australia–of some of its culture, history, and landscape–from the inside.
