Description
Little did President Obama know he was being prophetic, when he characterized citizens living in small towns throughout Pennsylvania, by saying “…they cling to guns or religion”. It is one small town’s abundance of faith and ownership of guns that motivates some of them to defend their small hamlet when it is isolated and held hostage by a cabal of terrorists proclaiming the name of Mujahideen Liberation Brigade. Aamir Shariff, commander of foreign and American born Islamic jihadists, declares to the world their demands as his soldiers turn Aamir’s words into action using advance technological techniques never displayed before by terrorists. They always seem to keep one-step ahead of the American authorities. The roar of gunfire reverberating through the shallow valley that contains the town signals the start of the attack and the almost four hundred residents of the small municipality react. Some people attempt to flee to safety. Several decide to hide out. A few decide to fight. Most people realizing their situation is precarious and not willing to risk their families’ lives comply with the orders of the terrorists. Orders that cause a tactical nightmare of consequences for any rescue attempts by the FBI Hostage Rescue Team. Amidst the attack’s first day of confusion and tragedy emerges a small hodgepodge of resistance fighters that includes a young Marine barely out of boot camp and a retired police officer. They have had several successes in fighting back, but not without tragic misfortune. Will the radical Muslim commander’s ultimatum be met by the current Presidential Administration? Will the FBI Hostage Rescue Team liberate the captives? What happens to the resistance fighters “clinging to their guns or religion?”
