A Utopian society based on Big Government, progressive ideals, and a global economy form the foundation of Apotheosis, a literary novel that delves headlong into the madness of everyday life. This madness is rooted in desire; the desire to be wealthy, the desire to be famous, and, above all, the desire for power. And the higher up you go, the greater these desires become. How far is too far? Is there a line that we won't cross? Will it ever be enough? And, most importantly, what the hell are were doing here? Apotheosis asks and answers these questions in hilarious fashion, mining the absurdity of modern culture for the long-buried nuggets of common sense and truth that used to mean something. Apotheosis is Kabuki theater on the page. There are interesting characters, and a twisting, complex plot; there is suspense, and romance, and intrigue. And, like any story that places human nature at the fore, there is madness. Lots and lots of madness.
