Muriel Foster's Fishing Diary

On September 16, 1913, at Little Loch Broom in Scotland, Muriel Foster made the first entry in her fishing diary, unaware that she was a pioneer fly fisherwoman. Her fascinating illustrated log, continued for 35 years and first published long before today's resurgence of enthusiasm for fly-fishing, is a unique addition to the literature.
