Scott Foresman Literature Guides function both as a teacher's manual and as a guide for students. The series' objective is to promote successful outside readings of substantial works of literature, while complementing classroom reading and discussion of the regular literature curriculum. Designed for use across grade and ability levels, the guides let you determine the course of study, pace, and method of evaluation. The guides are a convenient source of summarized content and critical, historical, social and biographical information.
