Skyler Tortuga: Secrets of the Dragonfly Dancer is the first book in a sci-fi fantasy series about a teenage outcast who finds herself drawn into a dangerous destiny where she must face an extraordinary evil that threatens not only her life, but the survival of the whole human race. It's a tale both magical and sometimes frightening which follows Skyler's path to empowerment in a world where the forces of darkness seem to have an unrippable grip. Finally, there's Benjamin "Blue Eyes" Carver, the mysterious mountain man who has known Skyler since before she was born and happens to have a few secrets of his own.
