Design and Construction of Joints in Concrete Structures

This report provides advice on provision, specification and construction of joints in-situ concrete construction. It covers both movement joints, which are intended to relieve potentially damaging stresses or strains, and construction joints, which are necessitated by practical limitations on the amount of concrete that can be poured, compacted and finished in one operation.
