Creating Pathways for Leadership Development

Creating Pathways for Leadership Development is an outgrowth of Leadership Under Construction (Scarecrow Press, 2004) and, in many ways, a supplement to our 2004 book. As our thoughts changed about leadership, Darrell Young developed the idea of pathways while Joe Hester, developed a capabilities template for creating an internal business/organizational culture. Youngs guest lecturing at the University of Georgias Terry College of Business and Hesters writing and editorial work for the Journal of Values-Based Leadership at Valparaiso University have led to a redevelopment of previous ideas and the substance of this manuscript.
