International Trade Procedures and Management (previously known as Export Practice and Documentation) is an updated guide to the mass of detailed procedures and regulations with which the exporter needs to be familiar - including shipping documentation, packing, invoicing, credit facilities and insurance. The author (a Moderator for the Institute of Export's paper on International Physical Distribution) has gathered together a great deal of information not conveniently available elsewhere.


This is a valuable reference source for both export managers and students. The last edition became a standard textbook for the Institute of Export examinations and for the Certificate of Export Office Practice. It has formed the basis of many short
courses at colleges, Chambers of Commerce and in government departments. The major change to this edition is the introduction of material on the Single European Market.
