Sanctuary Sparrow (Brother Cadfael Mysteries)

In the Shrewsbury spring of 1140 the midnight matins at the Benedictine abbey reverberate with an unholy sound, a hunt in full cry. Pursued by a drunken mob, the quarry is running for its life.
