First Life - An Existential Revolt Against Euclidean Man

First Life opposes the 'Euclidean' view of man put forward by many - such as Richard Dawkins and Daniel Dennett - that modern science shows man to be a machine built from the laws of physics and that moral truth is an illusion. It is a lively revolt of reason and the imagination, on behalf of everyday life and commonsense, against the fantasies of scientism and misapplied abstract thinking - an 'existential' revolt.
