Molecular Modeling Using ChemOffice features a series of 20 exercises that are designed to help guide students through the use of ChemDraw and Chem3D, to the point of developing a basic understanding of molecular mechanics. After students are taught the foundation for drawing molecules with ChemOffice, they are given a series of exercises and problems. These exercises relate to such topics as: molecular mechanics, the effect stretching, bending and twisting has on a molecule's stability, reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry, spectroscopy, and special topics such as polymers, biomolecules and symmetry.
