Outspoken radio talk show host Jim Fate dies tragically when poisonous gas fills the studio while his polarizing show, The Hand of Fate, is on air. 

They call themselves the triple threat. Three best friends who are uniquely qualified to crack the case: FBI Special Agent Nicole Hedges, crime reporter Cassidy Shaw, and Federal Prosecutor Allison Pierce. But Cassidy has a secret, one that will either solve the case, or make her a suspect.

As they race against time to stop another murder, the triple threat must piece together the crime to find a motive…and a killer.
