Logic Mysteries, Grades 3-5

Develop a passion for math in children and prepare them for future math courses by introducing logic. Twenty-seven problems, nine for each grade level, consist of a story that sets up the situation, provides a list of clues, and contains a matrix on which students record information from the clues to find a solution. Field-tested mysteries, arranged in order of increasing difficulty, include scenarios that involve pets, birthday parties, toys, and magic. Puzzles are solved by recording information on a matrix similar to the problems in Quizzles and More Quizzles.
