The Challenge of Cross-Cultural Interpretation in the Anglo-Indian Novel: The Raj Revisted

This study examines the picture of India on the brink of independence offered by three Anglo-Indian novels: Paul Scott's "Raj Quartet", J.G. Farrell's "The Siege of Khrishnapura", and Ruth Prawer Jhabvala's "Heat and Dust". Using literary criticism, the author analyzes their authenticity.
