Mastering Gnome

"Gnome" is a free, open source, Windows-like GUI for Linux that ships with the latest best-selling Red Hat and SuSE distributions. Linux leader Red Hat is heavily involved in Gnome's development, which means the GUI is poised for success. "Gnome" is compatible with All Linux distributions, and also runs on UNIX systems, including Sun's Solaris and HP's HP-UX. There are already dozens of "Gnome" applets and applications, and all KDE and X Windows applications run under "Gnome."
