Action 2000: Praying Scripture in a Contemporary Way, C Cycle

Like the first books of this program, Action 2000 is based on the common Lectionary readings. It follows the Sunday and daily scripture readings used in public worship by Catholics and many Protestants. It starts with the first Sunday in advent, and does not have specific dates, but rather, "Week 1 of Lent", "Ordinary Time Week 31" etc. Each meditation item contains the same 4 elements: a Bible reading, a story, an application to life, and a concluding thought. The procedure for praying each of the exercises involves 4 steps: read, think, speak, listen. Inside the front cover is a Daily Reflection Format to suggest how to use the book.
