This proceedings, "Marinas, Parks and Recreation Developments", contains papers presented at the International Conference sponsored by ASCE's Ports and Harbors Committee, Marinas 2000 Task Committee, and Parks and Recreation Planning Committee held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, June 26-30, 1994. The conference objective was to bring together engineers, planners, landscape architects, and other participants essential to building facilities needed by a growing world population, with ever increasing demands for spending quality leisure time. The increased role of public and special interest groups, regarding the environment, government spending, and closer scrutiny of corporate investments have made project planning all the more important and complex.
