Measuring Innovation in OECD and Non-OECD Countries: Selected Seminar Papers

Gleaned from an international seminar on the measurement of the activities and benefits of research and innovation on developing economies, this collection of papers displays some of the differences that exist between developing and developed countries in their approaches to the measurement of knowledge capital. The chapters include examples of societies all along the innovation gradient—with case studies from Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa, and China—and explorations of trends in and interpretations of innovation studies.
