Doing Art Together

Based on the methods taught in parent-child workshops at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, this book presents step-by-step art projects for beginners of any age or level of ability. The projects include working with paint, paper, collage and clay. Introductory chapters discuss how to select materials and how to organize a studio environment, and each subsequent chapter covers a specific studio project, teaching the use of colour, shape, line, pattern and texture.
