The Cath Lab: An Introduction

This text is intended to aid on-the-job training of non-physician cath lab personnel. There is a new chapter on "Pacemaker Implantation in the Cath Lab" and coverage of angiograms, interventional procedures (angioplasty), lab management, equipment, the history of cardiac catheterization, why the procedure is performed and the various forms it may take. It is designed for Cath lab technicians and cardio-pulmonary technicians.
