The Facet Analytic Approach to Research and Data Processing (American University Studies)

Facet analysis is a method of applying mathematically-derived concepts to the study of social and behavioral topics. Developed in the mid-1950's to provide researchers with the tools necessary to rigorously define whatever subject or «universe» they were exploring, facet analysis greatly facilitates the replicability of research -a primary ingredient in the accumulation of scientific knowledge.
