This sixth edition of Law Enforcement Patrol Operations provides a comprehensive resource for study of police patrol procedures, based on specific practices that have proven effective. Chapters 1 and 2 were updated to include current data and criteria relative to modern-day law enforcement. The Code of Ethics was expanded to include new language as suggested by the Association of Chiefs of Police. In addition, the book includes sections on identity crime and offering assistance to crime vic-tims.
