Jean-Baptiste Arban (1825-1889) wrote and arranged over 300 pieces of music, with his cornet a pistons solos being most important to trumpet and cornet players. After his death. most of the works fell into obscurity during the twentieth century. Rediscovering Arban's masterful music was the motivation for compiling this collection of cornet pieces which represents a very important piece of Arban's legacy. Includes a piano accompaniment audio CD for effective practice.
