The author, a descendant of the printer who produced Shakespeare's First Folio, examined the plays and poems of Shakespeare and found a sufficiently great preponderance of terms particuliar to printing and publishing as to lead him to believe that Shakespeare had actual working experience in a print shop, quite possibly that of the author's ancestor. The author's proposition is challenging and extremely well documented.
