Examines the different ways in which the Bosnian war was reported on television across the former Yugoslavia, Europe and the West. The essays consider the extent to which television news about Bosnia had an impact on government policy and public opinion. There is also an attempt to provide a deeper understanding of the general political and cultural dimensions of the television news genre.
