The IEE Earthing and Bonding: Guidance Note 8 (Standards and Compliance) (No. 8)

This "Guidance Note" is principally concerned with the electrical installation aspects of earthing and bonding together with automatic disconnection which forms the principal protective measure against indirect contact electric shock. It draws from the requirements embodied in the relevant parts, chapters and sections of "BS 7671:2001 Requirements for Electrical Installations" ("IEE Wiring Regulations, 16th Edition"), as amended by Amendment No 2: 2004. Where appropriate, other standards such as BS 7430: Code of practice for earthing are also referred to as well as international and European standards where relevant. This book is fully illustrated in colour throughout, thereby offering high quality diagrams and examples for ease of use.
