Agapê

The first adult graphic novel in the author’s career, Agape is the story of a sexual encounter among a group of consenting individuals with discerning taste. The multiethnic, multigendered group is free to indulge in the excesses of passion. Meticulously rendered in Herault’s virtuosic style reminiscent of Japanese manga and U.S. superhero graphics and using computer coloring, the story escapes into humorous asides and even includes viewing instructions. Six pages of sketches show the artist at work on his characters.
