Shady Business: Confronting Corporate Corruption

This work investigates corruption in the business world, focusing on illegal behaviour that benefits the bottom line - antitrust violations, kickbacks, insider trading, tax evasion and fraud. It dispenses with the myth that such crimes are victimless, showing how these practices, all too often considered "business as usual", impose real economic costs on society and erode people's trust in the system. Ross discusses the role of the government and describes the methods used by some large businesses to set up ethics programmes and create channels of communication for grievances and advice on conduct.
