Tractate Sanhedrin of the Mishnah deals chiefly with the Jewish juridical system and accordingly, Maimonides' commentary to it incorporates several discourses on major principles of Jewish jurisprudence and other important legal matter, including a discussion of the various forms of illicit and aberrant sexual behavior.
