Northwoods Wildlife Region

For 20 years a biology teacher, Jay devoted a lifetime to fostering the appreciation of nature. Constance superbly illustrated the mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and the 276 most distinctive plants of the region, extending from Manitoba to Newfoundland, and from Minnesota and Wisconsin to Maine, Massachusetts and south through the Appalachians.
