Comprehensive Body Composition Windows

This DOS program includes 78 protocols and equations for five methods of measuring body composiiton: skinfold, anthropometric, bioelectrical impedance, near infra-red interactance, and underwater weighing. It also includes equations for eight populations - White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, athlete, obese, and anorexic - and four age groups. Assessment is quick and easy. Users can identify a protocol and equation from a menu list or enter in the demographics about their subjects so that the program can automatically select the best formula for assessing body composition. Results may be saved to file, retrieved for analysis and compared to normative data. This disk also serves as a companion to "Applied Body Composition Assessment" by Heyward and Stolarczyk (0-87322-653-4).
