Mott Media has Republished the 1830's Version of the McGuffey Readers with the Original Christian Content! Begins with the alphabet. Early lessons have simple three- and four-word sentences of one line each. Progresses to longer sentences and full paragraphs. Original illustrations throughout. Both this primer and the one above can be used in first and second grades.
