Anarchism in Japan: A Study of the Great Treason Affair, 1910-1911 (Japanes Studies)

This work begins with a general introduction dealing with the turn of the century, then studies the anarchist movement and the political participants, the plot to assassinate the emperor, the activities of the police, the trial, and finally the philosophy of anarchism and the minor participants in this affair. It attempts to put into perspective the issue of governmental control of deviant political behaviour in Japan.
