Richard Dortch is host of the late-night nationally syndicated TV program Americas Prayer Meeting. He is also president and founder of Life Challenge, Inc., and agency caring for people in crisis.

As pastor and missionary, Dortch helped establish a Bible college in Belgium, and served as its president. He also served as a leader in his denomination for many years, and has served on ministry and college boards, in addition to establishing radio stations.

Dortch received his theological training at North Central Bible College, and received a Doctor of Divinity degree in 1979.
