Reading Detective: Developing Thinking Skills for Reading Comprehension A1 (1501 / RL 4+ / 4-6)

The goal of this program is to develop students' skills in reading comprehension, particularly those skills that require critical thinking, such as inference, relevance, identifying evidence, and generalization. ~ ~ Students will read excerpts from award-winning literature, original fiction, and nonfiction topics, answer questions about what they read, and provide evidence to support their choices. ~ ~ Grades 4-6 ability; 50 activities per book.
