More than 12,000 value changes, many of them increases were driven by a competitive stamp market. In Jordan alone, more than 2,300 changes were made. Other countries with a large number of changes include North Korea, Libya, Lithuania and Madagascar. As part of an on going effort to bring listings for North Korea up-to-date, 675 new major numbers from 1995-2000 were added.
